Janusys strengthened as supplier of bank solutions

Kriens LU/Lucerne – The company previously known as g&o cash systems GmbH has been renamed Janusys AG. In addition, bbv Software Services AG has acquired a stake in the Kriens-based firm. As a result, Janusys has now been strengthened as a supplier of secure bank safe solutions.

Previously known as g&o cash systems GmbH, the company from Kriens in the canton of Lucerne has been renamed Janusys AG, details of which can be found in a press release. At the same time, the Lucerne-based firm bbv Software Services AG (bbv) has acquired a stake in the newly renamed company.

Janusys supplies solutions for the management and monitoring of bank safes and smart postboxes in addition to secure lock and access systems, while bbv is a software and consulting firm that supports clients in realizing a wide range of IT systems. The two companies have already been working together for more than 20 years on joint projects. For example, they collaborated on the development of the goNet solution to control safe-deposit boxes.

With bbv acquiring a stake in Janusys, the latter will be in a position to further strengthen its involvement in the banking solutions sector. “With the expertise of bbv’s 300 software developers, Janusys will be able to carry out larger integration projects in future, such as connecting the goNet safe-deposit box control solution to a bank ERP or data warehouse, for example”, explains Elmar Ottiger, CEO of Janusys AG.
