Universal Robots cooperating with mequadrat

Root LU - Mequadrat AG, based at Technopark Lucerne, recently started collaborating with Universal Robots. It is supporting the Danish robot manufacturer by helping clients with assembly processes. To achieve this, mequadrat is using its own base structures.

equadrat AG recently started collaborating with the Danish robot manufacturer Universal Robots, details of which can be found in a LinkedIn post. In its role as Certified System Integrator for Universal Robots, mequadrat AG will support the integration of robot systems in client work processes. For example, the firm will assume responsibility for assembly and quality control. For this purpose, mequadrat AG offers a proprietary base on which the robots can be placed.

Universal Robots has commercialized collaborative robot arms, known as Cobots, among other solutions. For example, these are used for industrial applications as well as in the field of medical engineering.

Headquartered at Technopark Lucerne in Root, mequadrat AG describes itself as the partner for assembly and inspection systems in the field of digital manufacturing. To this end, the company primarily constructs and develops “equipment, needle adapters, manual workstations, production systems and test systems for the future”, according to information on its website.

In its press release, Universal Robots describes the company as a reliable “partner for companies in the medical engineering, industrial and consumer goods sectors”.
