4B achieves highest net sales in company history

Hochdorf - The window manufacturer 4B increased its net sales in the previous financial year by +14.7 percent to 204.2 million Swiss francs. This is the highest value in the company’s 127-year history. Investments were also up by +45.5 percent to 4.8 million Swiss francs.

The window and facade manufacturer 4B, which is headquartered in Hochdorf in the canton of Lucerne, generated the highest net sales in its company history in the 2022 financial year. Despite a slight decline in the order volume to 191 million Swiss francs, the long-standing firm with a rich tradition was able to increase net sales by +14.7 percent to 204.2 million Swiss francs, further details of which can be found in a press release.

4B’s supply chains have proven to be “pleasingly crisis-resistant” even during times of such “exceptionally challenging geopolitical circumstances” due to the war in Ukraine, the press release states. The reason for this is the company’s focus on suppliers based in Switzerland and other European countries located nearby.

This strategy helped to ensure a high level of delivery security, while production downtimes were avoided and the 2022 financial year was “successfully navigated”, according to CEO Jean-Marc Devaud. However, he opted not to disclose any information regarding the company’s profit for the year.

Furthermore, the company ramped up investments in 2022. Investment activities rose by +45.5 percent to 4.8 million Swiss francs. By commissioning new equipment, the company was able to reduce the time required to process an order to completion by more than two days.
