Advertising agencies FelderVogel and wave have merged

Lucerne - The two Lucerne-based advertising agencies FelderVogel and wave-advertising ag have become one. The new company operates as Wave, Brands and Stories. The merger has retroactive effect as of January 1, 2025, and comes on the back of a succession planning process for FelderVogel.

The two Lucerne-based communications agencies FelderVogel and wave-advertising are joining forces in a merger that takes retroactive effect as of January 1, 2025. The newly merged entity will operate on the market as Wave, Brands and Stories. The joint office is situated at Kapellgasse 3 in Lucerne, which is and was the address of wave.

As detailed in a press release, the two agencies used the first half of the year to internally trial the integration of FelderVogel in wave and gain experiences from the collaboration. Following this «successful consolidation phase», they now believe it's the right time to make this step official.

FelderVogel was founded in Lucerne in 1997 by Daniel Felder and Mark Vogel. The company’s portfolio includes branding and storytelling, websites and campaigns, corporate publishing, as well as photography, video and animation. «As part of the succession planning process, FelderVogel is transferring administrative control to the widely known advertising agency wave-advertising ag», as FelderVogel explains on its website. «We are delighted to bring our experience and creativity to the table there. We are equally glad to leverage wave’s expertise and capacities that will see them diligently offer personal support to our existing client base».

Wave-advertising was founded in 2001 by Klaus Fiebinger, Roberto Maramba and Mischa Palmers as a conventional advertising agency. According to the information, this merger results in a «young, 12-strong, interdisciplinary team that combines all relevant communications skills under one roof».
