Aeschbach Chocolatier becomes official partner of SWISS

Root – Chocolate company Aeschbach Chocolatier is taking to the skies and becoming an official partner of Swiss International Air Lines. From September 3, 2025, passengers in Business and Premium Economy Class will be able to enjoy a fine selection of chocolates from Root.

The collaboration between Aeschbach Chocolatier and Swiss International Air Lines is the result of over two years of intensive development. With passion and care, the Aeschbach team led by sales manager Markus Lusser fine-tuned every detail: new recipes were created, elegant shapes designed, calculated, tested, and continuously perfected.

The collaboration began with an elegant black box made from high-quality, sustainable paper. An elegant, reusable box that meets high standards of aesthetics and sustainability will soon be launched on the market. Aeschbach Chocolatier is particularly proud of the interior of both packages: The specially developed cellulose insert is unique in Europe, industrially compostable, and airtight, ensuring that the delicate flavors of the pralines and truffles remain optimally protected. The entire packaging concept combines elegant design with ecological responsibility and technical sophistication.

For Aeschbach Chocolatier, the partnership with Swiss International Air Lines is much more than a milestone — it is a symbol of what is possible when genuine craftsmanship meets innovative spirit. Today, CEO Jörg Rogenmoser runs the company. Having been part of the Aeschbach family for 37 years, he has witnessed and helped shape the transformation from a small artisan business to a modern chocolatier. «Our chocolate is created with genuine passion – driven by people who work with heart and dedication. For us, the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology is not a contradiction, but a daily reality. The fact that our creations can now also be enjoyed above the clouds fills us with pride,» says Rogenmoser.
