ALSO acquires Austrian Target Holding
Emmen/Koblach - ALSO from the canton of Lucerne has purchased Target Holding, which specializes in the sale of Apple products. The acquisition makes the technology provider one of the market leaders in Austria. Apple devices are important for applications that use artificial intelligence.
ALSO is continuing on its growth path and has acquired Austrian company Target Holding. This transaction will enable the Emmen-based IT technology specialist to strengthen its position on the Austrian market.
Target Holding is the market leader for Apple products in Austria. It also offers its customers a range of additional services. According to a press release, the main focus is on Microsoft’s Server Message Block (SMB) protocol, which demonstrates Apple’s strength in the consumer and enterprise sectors.
The company is a «perfect addition» to ALSO’s portfolio, and will offer even more added value to customers. «The latest AI applications require high-performance devices that are able to process the huge volumes of data. Apple products, with their new M3 processors, play an important role,» says Gustavo Möller-Hergt, CEO of ALSO Holding AG.
