ALSO records double-digit growth

Emmen - ALSO Holding AG generated revenue of more than 12 billion euros in the first nine months of 2026. Compared with the same period of the prior year, this equates to growth of 17 percent. There was also disproportionately strong growth relative to that seen in revenue for operating income at the level of EBITDA and Group profit.

ALSO Holding AG can look back with satisfaction on three successful quarters so far in the current year. In comparison with the first nine months of 2025, revenues were up by 17 percent to 12.4 billion euros, as the pan-European technology group headquartered in Emmen in the Swiss canton of Lucerne writes in a statement. The three business models Supply, Solutions and Services, with a particular emphasis in this regard on the cloud business, all contributed to the double-digit growth.

Operating income at the level of EBITDA and Group profit both grew at a rate significantly higher than that of revenue in comparison with the previous year. Specifically, EBITDA increased by 33 percent to 240 million euros, while Group profit was up by as much as 75 percent. However, the exact figure for Group profit was not communicated in the ad-hoc statement.

ALSO puts this improved profitability down to “higher margins, productivity improvements and the integration of the acquired companies”. The technology group places huge importance on the management of capital employed as a means of increasing profits. This includes, among other aspects, a focus on optimizing inventories, receivables and trade payables.

For the full year 2026, ALSO is projecting EBITDA at the top end of its self-defined guidance of 300 to 340 million euros. Moreover, it is targeting Return on Capital Employed (ROCE) of more than 20 percent.
