Bug Bounty Switzerland to become SignalFisher
Lucerne - Bug Bounty Switzerland will in future be operating under the name SignalFisher. With this new brand identity, the Lucerne-based computer security company is seeking to support the scaling and internationalization of its business.
Bug Bounty Switzerland, which is headquartered in Lucerne, is to operate under a new name, SignalFisher, as detailed in a statement. With this corporate rebranding, the company, which only recently secured financing of 12 million Swiss francs, intends to scale and internationalize its computer security programs, with a particular emphasis on cyber threats.
Founded in 2020, the company points to the fact that the ready availability of powerful Artificial Intelligence (AI) resources has drastically reduced the time it takes to discover and exploit computer security vulnerabilities. “The time window between when a vulnerability is discovered and when it is first exploited has shrunk to just a few hours today”, comments Sandro Nafzger, co-founder and CEO of SignalFisher.
In order to enhance cybersecurity, SignalFisher offers AI-powered test programs that continually run in the background on customer systems with the ability to readily adapt to new situations. The programs are developed and managed by the company’s security experts. In this context, employees at client companies, from the CISO to senior management, are empowered to make up-to-date and reliable security decisions.
SignalFisher’s client base includes international companies such as financial institutions, industrial firms, critical infrastructure operators and public sector organizations like Switzerland’s National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC). The company’s rebranding from Bug Bounty Switzerland AG to SignalFisher AG will be entered into the commercial register in the coming days. According to the company statement, the legal entity, company identification number, and contractual relationships will remain unchanged.
