Dagmersellen/LU - CERUNIQ in the canton of Lucerne has certified 121 companies in the ceramics industry with the Platinium quality label. The industry association label is a testament to the high quality and professional work of the businesses. Nine of these companies are based in the canton of Lucerne.

A total of 121 floor tilers, shops and mixed businesses from the ceramics sector have been awarded Platinium certification this year, as CERUNIQ has reported in a press release. Through this quality label, the association of leading tiling companies and specialist shops in the ceramic sector recognizes companies for their high quality and professional work. «Platinium embodies reliability, quality and stability», said CERUNIQ Central President Konrad Imbach in his speech at the awarding of the label, as quoted in the press release.

Five of the certified companies received this label for the first time, while the others were all recertified. The canton of Lucerne is home to nine of the recertified companies. Specifically, the labels were awarded to Bacchetta Baukeramik GmbH from Horw, Bühlmann Keramik AG from Hochdorf, DÄHLER KERAMIK GmbH from Weggis, Häfliger Plattenbeläge AG from Rain, JÖRI PLATTEN AG from Egolzwil, MUHEIM KERAMIK AG from Weggis, P. Bachmann AG from Urswil/Hochdorf, Ziswiler GmbH, Keramik, Naturstein, Ofenbau from Eschenbach and Zwimpfer - Platten AG from Sursee.

CERUNIQ explains that this year’s certification took place «under stricter requirements». Particular importance was placed on the training and further education of apprentices and staff, quality of advice provided, precision in carrying out work and a professional and customer-focused handling of complaints. The next Platinium certification will take place in 2027.
