Chenot Palace Weggis wins award
Weggis LU - Chenot Palace Weggis, which was newly opened in summer 2020 in the canton of Lucerne, has already won an award. It was crowned the winner in the World's Best Detox Programme category of year’s World Spa Awards.
Chenot Palace Weggis has received an accolade at this year’s World Spa Awards. The hotel overlooking Lake Lucerne was named the 2021 winner of the World's Best Detox Programme category according to a press release.
Chenot Palace Weggis was opened in summer 2020 after renovation and construction lasting almost two years. This has transformed the traditional building that once was the Park Hotel Weggis into a modern health and wellness facility under the Chenot brand. Chenot Palace Weggis offers more than 97 rooms and suites.
The World Spa Awards were created in 2015 as a sister event of the World Travel Awards, awarding accolades for excellent offerings in spa and wellness tourism. The aim is to raise standards and promote growth in the industry.
