CSEM supports deep-tech start-ups in overcoming technical hurdles
Alpnach/Neuchâtel – With its Start-up Elevate Program, the Swiss technology and innovation centre CSEM supports five deep-tech start-ups each year in taking a specific technical development step. Each receives project services worth CHF 50,000. Applications are open until 30 November 2026.
Selected start-ups carry out a focused technology project together with CSEM specialists, for example to assess feasibility, further develop a prototype or validate performance under real-world conditions. The results are intended to support market entry, industrialisation or the next funding round. The support is not paid out in cash, and CSEM does not take an equity stake in the companies.
The programme is open to incorporated start-ups based in Switzerland, ideally before a Series A round. Applicants need a clearly defined technical challenge linked to CSEM's areas of expertise and a realistic milestone.
Applications of no more than three pages must be submitted in English by email to startup.elevate@csem.ch. Selection takes place in December 2026, and projects start in January 2027.
