De Risk Partners to manage global compliance services from Lucerne
Lucerne/Westport - The US consulting firm and financial industry compliance specialists, de Risk Partners, has established a business unit in Lucerne. From now on, de Risk Suisse GmbH will manage and supervise the global initiatives of its parent company aimed at transforming internal audit functions.
Specializing in compliance services, the consulting firm de Risk Partners from the US State of Connecticut has made Lucerne its location for monitoring global initiatives in relation to internal audit transformation services. According to the company’s press release, de Risk Partners is currently in process of rolling out these services on the market. Mark Carawan, former Chief Auditor of Citigroup and Barclays, will head up this initiative aimed at transforming internal audit functions.
This new service, specially developed for crypto exchanges, fintech firms, traditional banks and credit cooperatives around the world, is to be managed and supervised by de Risk Partners’ new Swiss entity, de Risk Suisse GmbH. The company’s center of excellence based in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, will be responsible for execution.
In view of the explosive growth seen in the financial services sector, particularly in relation to cryptocurrencies and fintech, traditional audit approaches «simply don’t scale», according to CEO Ravi de Silva. He founded the company a year ago together with former executives from global financial institutions. «Our Internal Audit transformation services represent the perfect convergence of Mark Carawan's legendary expertise, Swiss operational excellence, and our Sri Lankan center’s technical proficiency», he states.
The founding of de Risk Suisse in Lucerne «strengthens our commitment to Swiss quality and precision», as de Silva explains further.
