Emmi expands ski sponsorship and becomes national partner of the 2027 Alpine Ski World Championships
Lucerne - Emmi, the Lucerne-based food group, is extending its partnership with Western Swiss ski racer Alexis Monney and has also signed on as national partner of the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships 2027 in Crans-Montana. The move continues the company's ski sponsorship engagement, which now spans almost two decades.
Emmi Caffè Latte's collaboration with Alexis Monney dates back several years. The 26-year-old from Fribourg is among Switzerland's strongest speed specialists: at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan-Cortina, he placed 5th in downhill and 10th in super-G, and he won bronze in downhill at the 2025 World Championships in Saalbach. Monney described the extended partnership as a reflection of mutual trust built over the years.
Marc Heim, Head of the Switzerland Division at Emmi, said Monney's values – performance, quality and a down-to-earth attitude – align closely with those of the Emmi Caffè Latte brand, adding that the collaboration is designed for the long term.

Alongside the extended athlete partnership, Emmi is newly joining as a national sponsor of the FIS Alpine Ski World Championships Crans-Montana 2027. The event runs from 1 to 14 February 2027 – forty years after Crans-Montana last hosted the championships in 1987.
Emmi is headquartered in Lucerne and traces its roots to a 1907 founding by dairy-farming cooperatives. The company is listed on the SIX Swiss Exchange and majority-owned by ZMP Invest AG. According to the company, Emmi operates 73 production sites in 13 countries, employed around 12,800 people in 2025, and generated revenue of CHF 4.7 billion.
