Erowa investing 25 million Swiss francs in Büron

Reinach/Büron - Erowa is building a new production building on the former Superba site in Büron in the canton of Lucerne. The expansion of the site in the Surental area of Lucerne will extend across three floors and a total area of 13,000 square meters on offer. The new building will set Erowa back roughly 25 million Swiss francs.

Erowa is adding a production building to its site in Büron in the canton of Lucerne. To this end, the company is investing approximately 25 million Swiss francs. Ground is expected to be broken on this project in the spring of this year.

According to a report in the “Luzerner Zeitung” newspaper, operations at the Erowa headquarters in Reinach in the canton of Aargau, where 45 members of staff are employed, will be continued. According to Erowa CEO Stephan Neeser, one reason for the company’s investment in Büron is the rail connection and its proximity to Sursee in the canton of Lucerne, where there is a connection to the highway.

The new building is being constructed on the former Superba site. A total area of 13,000 square meters will be available across three floors. Erowa intends to cover 80 percent of the energy requirement by using geothermal probes attached to a total of 180 posts. These will be needed to help counteract the unstable ground.
