Four startups from Technopark Lucerne present to the business community
Lucerne/Root - Four startups from Technopark Lucerne had the opportunity to showcase their work at economiesuisse’s Business Day. With adartys, MEquadrat, Nettle Circle, and Zelsius, a wide range of Technopark startups was represented. One of the highlights was a discussion with Swiss President Parmelin.
Four members of Technopark Lucerne in Root, in the Swiss canton of Lucerne, took part in Business Day. The annual meeting of economiesuisse took place on 11 September in Lucerne. Adartys, MEquadrat, Nettle Circle, and Zelsius had the opportunity to present their work to a national audience. The four companies’ booths were centrally located between the main hall and the areas set aside for coffee breaks and networking, allowing them to engage in informal conversations with interested participants from a range of industries.
The representatives of the startups said they appreciated the opportunity to speak with key figures from the Swiss business community. The election of textile entrepreneur Silvan Wildhaber as the new president of economiesuisse was a particular highlight for Cornelia Bamert. The founder and CEO of Nettle Circle is developing renewable textile fibers made from regionally grown stinging nettles. «It was a very special moment for me to be able to briefly explain to Swiss President Guy Parmelin in person how Nettle Circle – founded in 2020 – uses stinging nettles to develop regional, regenerative value chains: from field to fiber,» said Bamert.
Founded in 2024, adartys GmbH specializes in automated 3D printing. MEquadrat AG is a partner for assembly and testing systems in digital manufacturing. It was founded in 2012. Zelsius AG, founded in 2024, helps Swiss industrial companies decarbonize their operations.
