Geistlich expands partnership with StimLabs in the USA

Wolhusen/Schlieren/Roswell - Geistlich has announced it is expanding its partnership with the American company StimLabs. From the second quarter of 2026, StimLabs will distribute Geistlich’s wound care product DermaForm in the USA. The Geistlich Group is also celebrating its 175th anniversary this year.

Geistlich Pharma from Wolhusen in the Swiss canton of Lucerne, which belongs to the Schlieren-headquartered Geistlich Group in the canton of Zurich, has expanded its partnership with StimLabs. According to a statement, the American regenerative medicine company based in Roswell, Georgia is to distribute the drug DermaForm in the USA starting in the second quarter of 2026.

Geistlich recently received 510k clearance from the US Food & Drug Administration (FDA) for its particulate collagen for wound healing. The collagen product is used to treat both chronic and acute wounds. According to the statement, the particulate form can adapt to irregular and complex wounds.

«Geistlich developed DermaForm by applying our regeneration expertise to expand upon the proven clinical performance of Derma-Gide now with a new particulate form for ease of use,» Mark Spilker, Chief Science Officer at Geistlich Pharma, is quoted as saying. John Daniel, founder and CEO of StimLabs, believes that Geistlich's innovative strength and commitment to quality are well suited to bringing «another unique solution to our patients and providers».

In another statement, the Geistlich Group announced that it has begun celebrations to mark its 175th anniversary. On 3 February, a new book telling the story of Geistlich was presented at a vernissage in Schlieren. The company's history began in 1851 in Zurich-Riesbach, soon leading to Switzerland's first glue factory in Schlieren. Today, in addition to the regeneration specialist Geistlich Pharma, the group also includes Geistlich Immobilia in Schlieren and Delta Zofingen in Zofingen in the Swiss canton of Aargau, which together employ around 1,000 people.
