Geistlich Pharma, a company in regenerative dental medicine, has inaugurated its new production building. According to a press release, the project helps accomplish the company’s goal of unifying Research & Development and Production at one site. With the addition of a production building, the company has committed itself to the location of Wolhusen.

Geistlich Pharma has successfully established 12 global subsidiaries to date. Its top sales markets include Brazil, China, Germany and the USA. The new building equips the company for the ever-growing demand, said Paul Note, CEO of Geistlich Pharma. Production capacities have been expanded and production made more flexible as a result.
Geistlich chose IE Life Science as its partner for the forward-looking construction on account of the Zurich company’s “cleanroom competence”. Also key to the decision was that this partner could guarantee operational planning and building planning from a single source.

The new facilities underpin the pharma company’s endeavor to provide the highest level of Swiss quality. “This design not only equips us for the future, but it also reduces the time to market of new products without requiring costly building adjustments,” commented CEO Paul Note.

Geistlich Pharma is part of the Geistlich Group from Schlieren, which also includes Delta Zofingen, GEWO and Geistlich Immobilia AG.
