Geistlich Pharma introduces new products and brand design

Wolhusen - Geistlich Pharma, based in the canton of Lucerne, contributed to this year’s International Osteology Symposium with seminars and presentations. The international company introduced a new solution for treating periodontitis, and also unveiled its new brand design.

The International Osteology Symposium (IOS) took place from April 27 to 29 in Barcelona. Run by the Osteology Foundation every three years, this is “the most important event in the field of regenerative dentistry”, according to a press release issued by Geistlich Pharma. The international Lucerne-based subsidiary of Geistlich Group, which is based in Schlieren in the canton of Zurich, contributed to the IOS with a series of practical seminars and numerous presentations. 

According to the press release, the presentations focused on subjects such as the impact of tissue regeneration on long-term implant success. The company also introduced new products, including Regenfast for periodontal regeneration surgery. This gel supports wound healing by helping to protect the tissues of the oral cavity, writes Geistlich Pharma. “With this, we are directly addressing the needs of our patients,” says Geistlich CEO Ralf Halbach in the press release. 

The company also presented its new branding at the IOS.  The new “regeneration wave” and “trusted blue” focus color are intended to represent “knowledge of the adaptability of regenerative processes” and illustrate “the scientific foundation as well as the trust in the family-owned company”. The wave sets the direction, explains Halbach: “Pioneering spirit, collaborative development and at its heart, the family.”
