Gübelin involved in Zurich Film Festival

Lucerne/Zurich - The House of Gübelin is joining the Zurich Film Festival as a co-partner. In doing so, the family-owned company plans to promote talents and cultural exchange. In exchange, Gübelin will be presented in a commercial before certain films.

According to a press release from Gübelin, the Lucerne-based family company established in 1854 is the new co-partner of the Zurich Film Festival (ZFF). This year’s ZFF will take place from September 28 to October 8. The Lucerne-based jewelry and watch expert plans to strengthen its commitment to art and culture with the partnership.

Gübelin’s President Raphael Gübelin commented in the press release: “As co-partner, we are deeply involved in this world-class festival, which has its roots in Switzerland and enjoys international renown.” Art, culture, and creativity are said to be central to the family-owned company, which is now in its sixth generation. He added: “Through our partnership with the Zurich Film Festival we would like to continue our efforts toward promoting talent, supporting cultural exchange, and celebrating the art of cinema.”

The House of Gübelin has produced a short film for the ZFF that presents the company. This emphasizes the family-owned company’s connection to Switzerland and shows how Gübelin draws inspiration from nature. The commercial will be shown at the festival before certain films.

The partnership with the ZFF is said to fit entirely within the spirit of Gübelin’s Deeply Inspired philosophy. This unites beauty, knowledge, and craftsmanship. A pioneer spirit and innovation as well as authenticity, competence, and inspiration are all key values of the company’s philosophy. Gübelin writes that these are all in line with the new partnership.
