Schlieren/Rothenburg/Lupfig - Halter and Padelta have started a long-term partnership within the framework of the FUTURAMA project. As part of this, two padel courts will be built on the ground floor of FUTURAMA in Lupfig, a center for innovation and collaboration, by October.

Halter AG from Schlieren in the canton of Zurich and Padelta AG from Rothenburg in the canton of Lucerne have entered into a long-term partnership, according to a statement. The companies are collaborating on the FUTURAMA project, which seeks to transform the former Futura towers in Lupfig in the canton of Aargau into a multifunctional hub for innovation, technology, education, work, leisure and community. The partnership aims to position the location as an “innovative hub with nationwide appeal”, as Halter writes in the statement. As a highlight of the collaboration, two padel tennis courts will be built on the ground floor of FUTURAMA.

Through the partnership, FUTURAMA is to be established as a vibrant and versatile space offering modern infrastructure. The two padel courts are scheduled to open on October 1, 2026. Automated infrastructure allowing for digital booking, lighting control and access will ensure convenient use round the clock.

According to Halter, the collaboration combines the expertise of both companies and creates a new arena for sport, exchange and innovation. “We are creating an attractive hotspot for padel, a sport whose popularity is soaring”, Halter states, adding that: “The collaboration between Halter and Padelta shows how to effectively combine sporting dynamism with future-oriented real estate developments”.

Padelta has been driving the development of padel in Switzerland for more than four years. According to information from the company itself, Padelta has opened eleven locations in German-speaking Switzerland and operates the country’s largest padel academy, which specifically promotes both recreational and competitive sports.
