Kriens LU - Following a four-year build, Halter AG started to hand over the keys to PilatusTower in Kriens on October 1, 2026. Standing at 113 meters in height and comprising 36 stories, the PilatusTower is the tallest residential building in the canton of Lucerne.
Halter AG, a construction firm, has now started to hand over the keys to the PilatusTower in Kriens after a construction time of around four years. According to a statement, at a height of 113 meters and 36 stories, this is tallest residential building in the canton of Lucerne.
The PilatusTower is part of the overall Pilatus Arena project. The arena, the Helvetia Tower, and now the PilatusTower have been built on a site covering an area of 12,900 square meters. This development comprises 167 condominiums starting from the eighth floor, along with 66 small apartments and units in the base section. These complement the 139 rental apartments and approximately 2,000 square meters of commercial and office space already located in the Helvetia Tower.
The Zurich-based architectural practice Giuliani Hönger was brought on board as the architect for this project. In addition to their own apartments, new residents can access numerous communal areas, such as a sauna with a panoramic view, a fitness room, co-working spaces, a wine cellar, guest rooms and a roof terrace with a garden room.
The project aims to strengthen Kriens, located to the south of Lucerne, as a residential and business location within the urban area.
