HOCHDORF launches joint venture with Pharmalys
Root - HOCHDORF Swiss Nutrition AG, headquartered in Root LU, has founded HOCHDORF Laboratories SA together with the Swiss company Pharmalys Laboratories. The new joint venture is backed by HOCHDORF's owner, AS Equity Partners.
Through the joint venture, the two partners are combining their respective strengths: HOCHDORF contributes its Swiss production and technology expertise in powder drying, while Pharmalys brings its brand portfolio and international distribution network spanning 32 countries. According to a statement issued by the companies, the goal is to jointly tap new market opportunities in infant and specialty nutrition.
«The founding of HOCHDORF Laboratories SA marks an important step in the further development of our company,» Andreas Schulte, Chairman of the Board of HOCHDORF Swiss Nutrition AG, is quoted as saying in the statement.
HOCHDORF describes itself as Switzerland's center of excellence for smart nutrition, with 130 years of experience in powder drying. The company develops, produces and distributes infant formula as well as protein and specialty nutrition products made from milk and whey. Pharmalys specialises in high-quality infant nutrition and, according to its own statements, operates a distribution network across 32 countries.
