Hornetsecurity opens data center in Lucerne
Lucerne/Hanover - The German company Hornetsecurity is opening a data center in Lucerne. Located in the Stollen Lucerne Data Center, the new site strengthens the company’s presence in the Swiss market, which will now be served even more effectively.
Hornetsecurity, a German provider of cloud security services based in Hanover, has announced the opening of its new data center in Lucerne. Located in the Stollen Lucerne Data Center, this investment is intended to enable Swiss partners and customers to purchase Hornetsecurity’s complete service portfolio locally. The data center is also powered exclusively by renewable energy and uses environmentally friendly seawater cooling.
The new data center in Lucerne follows Roger Staub’s appointment as Country Manager Switzerland in 2024. Hornetsecurity wants to further strengthen its presence in Switzerland and better serve the Swiss market. “Our investment in the expansion of the Swiss data center reaffirms our commitment to providing our customers and partners with best-in-class security solutions,” explains Daniel Hofmann, CEO of Hornetsecurity.
