HSLU Launches Second Edition of CAS Business and Service Innovation
Lucerne - The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts launches the second edition of its CAS Business and Service Innovation in September 2026. The programme combines innovation management with applied AI – practical, compact, and project-based.
The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts – School of Business offers its CAS Business and Service Innovation programme again from September 2026. The programme is designed for specialists and managers responsible for innovation initiatives in organisations – covering everything from idea assessment and prototyping to business modelling and communication.
The CAS is structured across four modules: Service Leadership, Prototyping, Business Model Innovation, and Innovation Marketing – mapping the full innovation process both in content and methodology. AI tools such as ChatGPT are an integral part of the programme and are actively used as working instruments throughout.
Rather than traditional exams, the focus is on practical application: participants bring their own project, which they develop over five months with individual coaching. Assessment is based on documented project progress.
The programme addresses professionals from business development, innovation, and digitalisation, as well as those working in technology and R&D, startups and scale-ups, and product or marketing management. Several years of professional experience are required.
