Insurance broker Neutrass expands in Central Switzerland

Sursee/Rotkreuz - The independent insurance broker Neutrass is acquiring Finas Broker AG in Sursee in the canton of Lucerne. This will make Neutrass one of the largest owner-managed insurance brokers in Swiss hands, now with around 75 employees.

According to a press release, the insurance broker Neutrass AG with headquarters in Rotkreuz in the canton of Zug is expanding further. The owner-led company is taking over Finas Broker AG in Sursee with a total of seven employees. According to the press release, this will make Neutrass one of the largest owner-led insurance brokers in Swiss possession, now with 75 members of staff.

Neutrass’ CEO Pascal Walthert commented that the merger is “a win for all parties.” He added: “Neutrass is strengthening its position as an independent and client-oriented broker as well as its presence in the core region of Central Switzerland.” Neutrass opened its own offices in Sursee in November 2022.

Finas Broker AG Sursee is said to have seen steady growth over the past decade. Roland Beeli, owner of Finas Broker AG, stated that he decided on the merger with strong, experienced partner Neutrass “to continue to ensure the high service competence and client engagement.”

The insurance and provisions broker business in Switzerland is undergoing a change, as is the entire financial sector. In light of ever more complicated regulatory requirements and the rapid increase in digitalization, more and more brokers are combining with larger units, according to the press release from Neutrass.

The information provided by Neutrass states that it has operated as an independent broker for 35 years. It works with more than 60 insurance companies and financial service providers as a broker. Neutrass has A-broker status and thus can broker more beneficial products, solutions, and conditions for its SME and industry clients from all economic sectors as well as public institutes.
