Invenda secures fresh capital

Lucerne - Invenda has secured over 2 million Swiss francs in a funding round. The start-up from Lucerne develops software and hardware for vending machines. Its clients include the American food company Mars Wrigley.

The Lucerne-based start-up Invenda has secured over 2 million Swiss francs in a funding round according to an article on startupticker.ch. The investors include the investment firm Mutschler Ventures from Baar in the canton of Zug, the investment firm Adinvest from the citiy of Zug, and business angel Andreas Pfluger, who was previously also CEO of Lindt & Sprüngli in North America.

Invenda provides software based on the Internet of Things (IoT) as well as hardware for vending machines. The coronavirus crisis has boosted the start-up’s business. Last year, it was able to triple its sales. Among others, Invenda has won over the American food company Mars Wrigley, which has ordered several thousand Invenda machines according to the information provided.

Invenda now plans to use the fresh capital to accelerate growth in North America. Additionally, the plan is to expand sales and increase production capacities. CEO and Founder Jon Brezinsk is quoted in the article on startupticker.ch, saying: “Our product portfolio in various retail application areas has proven its worth; now we want to scale up even more.”
