Komax Group appoints Roger Albrecht as new CEO

Dierikon - Roger Albrecht is set to lead the Komax Group as its new CEO from the start of 2027. At present, Albrecht is a member of Rieter’s executive management team. Until Albrecht joins the company, Andreas Häberli, Chairman of the Board of Directors, will continue to lead Komax on an interim basis.

The Board of Directors of Komax Holding AG, a manufacturer of wire processing machines based in Dierikon in the Swiss canton of Lucerne, has named Roger Albrecht as its new CEO. Since 2021, Albrecht has served as a member of the Group Executive Committee at Rieter. According to a statement, he will take up his new role at Komax during the first quarter of 2027, succeeding Andreas Häberli, Chairman of the Board of Directors, who has been leading the company on an interim basis since April 1, 2026.

Roger Albrecht graduated in business administration, before securing a master’s degree in accounting and finance from the University of St.Gallen. He spent seven years in various finance roles at the Hilti Gruppe, including as Director of Finance in Canada. For more than a decade now, Albrecht has been working in a range of management functions at Rieter. Starting out as a financial controller for one of the group’s divisions, he later served as Managing Director at one of its German subsidiaries for three years. Since 2021, he has also been a member of the Group Executive Committee. At present, he heads up the Components & Technology division.
