Küchler Technik gets green light for new headquarters in Kriens
Kriens - Küchler Technik AG has secured approval to build its new headquarters in Kriens and can now move forward with the project. This means that the company, which works in the field of special civil engineering, can retain its headquarters in the Swiss canton of Lucerne.
With the building permit for its new main building, Küchler Technik AG can now guarantee it will remain in Kriens despite limited space. According to a statement, the company, which specializes in anchoring, drilling, grouting, and measuring technology, is making a conscious decision to invest in its long-standing location rather than relocate.
"The new building is a clear commitment to our roots in Kriens," Jörg Küchler, CEO and owner of Küchler Technik AG, is quoted as saying. The family-owned company writes that it is creating modern work opportunities and the necessary infrastructure for the next generation, ensuring that jobs, expertise, and industrial value creation remain in the municipality and in the canton of Lucerne.
Preliminary work has reportedly been underway for over 10 years, involving issues that have strengthened Jörg Küchler’s commitment to regional development. Ultimately, plans are now in place for a building that will improve operational processes while serving as a landmark. An additional new structure with a truck turning area is designed to better manage heavy traffic, relieving pressure on local areas in the future.
The company’s growth is spread across different locations, writes the statement. In addition to Kriens, Küchler Technik operates a location in Western Switzerland, and in Ticino it is represented by its sister company Lumesa SA. The company has intensified its activities in other countries – namely in Austria, Germany, and Slovenia. With all this, it is also continuously expanding its areas of expertise.
Küchler Technik was founded in 1998 in the Swiss canton of Lucerne. Today it employs 50 people. With its parent company Küchler Group AG, the total number of employees comes to 100. The company focuses on products, systems, equipment, and services across anchoring, drilling, grouting, and measuring technology. It also shares its expertise with industry professionals by hosting seminars.
