Luucy presents innovations

Lucerne/Schlieren - Luucy has presented new functionalities for the company’s spatial planning platform. These range from photorealistic terrain and new licensing plans all the way through to an updated metrics app and object grouping. Luucy will be present at the Swissbau 2024 trade fair.

Luucy AG, which operates locations in both Lucerne and in Schlieren in the canton of Zurich, has launched an updated version of its interactive 3D platform for spatial planning and real estate development. According to a press release, the new version of the software contains a range of innovations, including photorealistic terrain on the basis of Google Maps data. This third terrain option in the Luucy platform not only enables environments and surroundings to be depicted in great detail, but also the photorealistic visualization of buildings in more than 2,500 cities and 49 countries, as the company writes in its press release.

Changes have also been made to the licensing plans. In order to offer users the best possible tailored solution, two new licensing plans have been launched alongside the Team license - the former standard license. There is now a cost-effective solution for individuals and smaller teams to familiarize themselves with Luucy in the form of the starter license. The company now additionally offers the business license for larger companies comprising various teams and departments.

The metrics app has been updated and expanded to include additional key figures, the press release explains. A detail view has been added that makes it possible to compare the metrics of different buildings, while it is also now possible to export detail views and variant comparisons as a CSV file, with the result that data can be easily analyzed in other applications. Moreover, there is the new object grouping functionality, which allows the user to group their objects per variant, whether self-created or imported objects

According to the press release, Luucy will be present at Swissbau 2024, the leading trade fair for the Swiss construction and real estate sector, which is set to take place January 16-19, 2024, at Messe Basel.
