Luucy provides new version of 3D program for planners

Lucerne/Schlieren - The Lucerne-based startup Luucy has launched the next generation of its platform with the same name. The 3D program for planners is now also available in French. The platform is used by real estate companies and communities.

Luucy AG, which has locations in Lucerne and Schlieren in the canton of Zurich, has launched the new generation of the platform that bears its name. Luucy 2.6 is now available in French, according to a corresponding press release from the startup. Furthermore, the new version has enhanced keyboard navigation and easier control. Additionally, relevant data sets are provided for spatial and real estate development. Luucy is starting with corresponding data sets from the canton of Lucerne. 

Luucy’s platform can be used to model, analyze, visualize, and communicate real estate developments through digital twins. In version 2.6, the roof pitch can be freely adjusted. A new function also makes it possible to navigate underground levels of buildings. 

The 3D models created using Luucy are used to depict development plans for specialists and the interested public. It provides such great detail that it can portray the shadows cast by buildings. The location promotion agency Limmatstadt AG has already presented a digital 3D model of the Limmat valley. This enables the region and its urban development projects to be experienced virtually.
