Marc Rothenbühler is the new CEO of Funk Group Switzerland
Lucerne - Marc Rothenbühler has succeeded Urs A. Bleisch as CEO of Funk Group Switzerland. Bleisch will now focus on his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors. Rafael Fischbach also joined the management board of the risk, pension, and insurance management consulting firm at the start of 2026.
The new year has marked a generation change in the operational management of Funk Group Switzerland. Marc Rothenbühler, who has headed the Funk branch in Bern for more than 10 years, as well as been a member of the Executive Board since 2022, has succeeded Urs A. Bleisch. According to a statement, the outgoing CEO plans to focus on his role as Chairman of the Board of Directors in the future.
At the beginning of 2026, Rafael Fischbach also joined the company's management team: as Head of Services, he is responsible for IT, corporate and application development, human resources, finance, and legal affairs. Alongside Rothenbühler and Fischbach, Martin Vögeli (Head of International and Specialist Areas) and Rolf Th. Jufer (Head of Market Development) will continue to be responsible for their current areas of activity in the four-member Executive Board.
«As an owner-managed service provider, continuity and predictability are very important to us,» Bleisch is quoted as saying. «I wish my successor every success and enjoyment in his new role. With his professional expertise and cultural roots in our company, Marc Rothenbühler is the ideal candidate to lead the Funk Group in Switzerland successfully into the future and develop it in line with the needs of our customers.»
The Funk Group, which is headquartered in Hamburg, provides consulting services in risk, pension, and insurance management. The company employs around 120 people in Switzerland and Liechtenstein at its locations in Lucerne, Zurich, Bern, Basel, St. Gallen, and Vaduz.
