Messe Luzern set to hold new NovaFood trade fair
Lucerne - Messe Luzern AG and RUUF AG will be hosting the first edition of the new NovaFood trade fair on October 26-27. Around 85 exhibitors from the Swiss food industry will be present at the event, which will offer them an opportunity to share their industry experiences.
Lucerne will play host to the new NovaFood trade fair on October 26 and 27. For the first time, Swiss exhibitors from the food industry will be showcasing their businesses at the invitation of Messe Luzern AG and RUUF AG, as detailed in a statement.
Around 85 exhibitors operating across all production segments, ranging from raw materials, production equipment and packaging technology, all the way through to hygiene and quality assurance, will be on hand to present their products at the trade fair. The first-time exhibitors include various industry giants such as Bizerba, Halag, Multivac, Pacovis, Schweizer Zucker and Vitaris. «NovaFood addresses a real need within the industry to exchange ideas in relation to food production issues and to establish new contacts», as Christian Rudin, Trade Fair Director and Managing Director of RUUF AG, comments in the statement.
In addition to the exhibits on display, visitors will also be able to enjoy a specialist supporting program, with presentations, panel discussions and best-practice examples all on offer as a source of information for industry professionals. Food manufacturers and transport companies will be outlining challenges and solutions as part of a food logistics forum. Alongside the trade fair itself, NovaFood operates as a platform for information and inspiration within the Swiss food production sector throughout the year.
