Novex AG is taking over Bigla Office AG. Two Swiss furniture manufactures steeped in the greatest tradition are joining forces to produce office furniture. From 2020, all pieces of furniture from both family companies will be manufactured in the existing Novex production facility in Huttwil BE. According to a press release issued by Novex, this will make the most of its production facility. To this end, 30 jobs will gradually be transferred from Biglen BE to Huttwil. Bigla Office AGs Sales and Administration departments in addition to its showroom will remain based in Biglen.
Both brands will continue with separate ranges available on the market. Bigla Care AG is exempt from the takeover. It will remain in the ownership of the Bösch family and will be further developed on an independent basis.
