OOMNIUM launches online crowdfunding platform for investments

Zurich/Lucerne/Zug - The online crowdfunding platform from the Zurich-based firm OOMNIUM AG is set to go live on May 9. It allows interested parties to directly invest in Swiss start-ups. The minimum investment stake is 231 francs. To kick things off, the platform will showcase four start-ups based in Zurich, Lucerne and Zug.

OOMNIUM is launching a new eponymous crowdfunding platform. According to a press release, interested parties can invest directly in companies whose values they share on oominium.com from May 9 onwards. The minimum investment stake amounts to 231 francs, while each campaign will run for a period of one month. OOMNIUM was established by the same operators as the well-known Swiss crowdfunding platform wemakeit.

The start-ups elleXX, NANIMALE, Parkn’Sleep and Yamo will be the first four companies to be showcased via OOMNIUM. elleXX universe AG is a Zurich-based fintech founded in 2021 by women, with the aim of empowering a more sustainable and more equal financial world, especially for women. Also based in Zurich, NANIMALE AG has been selling homemade vegan ice cream made from natural ingredients with zero additives since April 2022.

Parkn‘Sleep AG from Lucerne offers Europe’s most-used parking app to campers for spontaneous and safe overnight stays at dedicated pitches, mobile home ports and camping parks through a digital check-in process. Yamo AG is a food start-up from Zug that has been successfully producing organic baby and children’s food since its crowdfunding round in 2017.
