Patrick Lobsiger becomes new CEO of Pistor

Rothenburg LU – Bakery and catering supplier Pistor is preparing for a change on the senior management team. On 1 April 2022, Patrick Lobsiger will become the new CEO. He will succeed Markus Lötscher, who is stepping down after 14 years at the helm as CEO.

The administrative board of the bakery and catering supplier Pistor in Rothenburg has chosen to appoint Patrick Lobsiger (41) as the new CEO of the Pistor Group. He will assume office on 1 April 2022, as Pistor Holding Genossenschaft reported in a press release. The Group includes the operating company Pistor AG and the subsidiaries of Proback AG and Fairtrade SA.

Lobsiger is “a leader with a strong performance record,” said administrative board president Daniel Eichenberger. “Alongside in-depth industry expertise, he has many years of experience in the development of strategies and business areas.” The future CEO is currently Chief Marketing & Procurement Officer at Transgourmet. Previously, the press release reveals, he was CEO at Office World Group and held various management positions at other companies, including Amazon. On completion of his apprenticeship, Patrick Lobsiger studied business administration and completed an MBA program at the IE Business School in Madrid. Born in Schaffhausen, he now lives in Staufen in the canton of Aargau with his family.

Lobsiger will succeed Markus Lötscher, who is stepping down after 14 years at the helm as CEO. According to the press release, Pistor has become a leading wholesaler in Switzerland under his leadership. Until 2019, before the coronavirus pandemic hit, the company had achieved growth each year.

Lötscher will be officially discharged at the annual general meeting of Pistor Holding Genossenschaft on 17 May 2022.
