Renaissance investment foundation ensures continuity at Arlewo
Lucerne/Lausanne - The investment foundation Renaissance and the existing management have acquired all shares held by the previous owners of the Lucerne-based real estate firm Arlewo. Silvio Camenzind, Thomas Peter and Thomas Winiger will remain with the company’s executive leadership team for a transitional period.
Arlewo, the real estate firm from Lucerne, is undergoing a strategic repositioning. As detailed in a statement, the investment foundation Renaissance and the existing management have acquired all shares from previous owners Silvio Camenzind, Thomas Peter and Thomas Winiger. The steps now being implemented reflect a commitment to putting in place a long-term succession plan.
The previous owners will, however, remain with company as part of the management team to oversee a transitional period. Thomas Peter will chair the board of directors, while Silvio Camenzind will remain a board member. For his part, Thomas Winiger will continue to serve the company in an advisory capacity.
With effect from July 1, 2026, a governing body will oversee the business operations of the company, which employs 160 staff, alongside the existing management as co-owners. In total, 15 people will serve on this body, “comprising members of the executive board and department heads,” as the statement explains.
With the acquisition of the shares by the management and Renaissance, the company is said to be prioritizing “continuity, stability and sustainable growth”. On this basis, the corporate culture will reportedly be safeguarded, while employees and customers will benefit from continuity over the long term and the business model can be continually refined.
