Renggli AG wins Prix SVC Central Switzerland

Lucerne/Sursee LU - Renggli AG from Sursee in the Swiss canton of Lucerne has won the Prix SVC Central Switzerland 2020. The company specializing in sustainable wooden building projects prevailed out of 120 candidates to win the Swiss Venture Club’s SME prize.

The corporate network Swiss Venture Club (SVC) honors SMEs for innovative products and services with its Prix SVC Central Switzerland. The corporate culture, the quality of employees and management as well as sustainability and anchoring within the region are among the relevant criteria for the award. A total of 120 companies had applied for the Prix SVC Central Switzerland 2020. Among them, Renggli AG from Sursee asserted itself, the SVC states in a press release.

The general contracting company implements energy-efficient, sustainable wooden construction projects. The press release on the award also calls the Lucerne-based company “a pioneer of the Minergie building standard”. Renggli AG is an internationally active company based in the canton of Lucerne, and the general contracting company’s headquarters are located in Sursee with a production factory in Schötz. The family company is led by Max Renggli from the fourth generation. Owner, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Renggli AG, he is also a member of the Foundation Board of the Lucerne Business location promotion association.

With Shiptech AG in third place and Gübelin AG, there are two other Lucerne-based companies in the group of six award winners in addition to Renggli AG. Shiptech AG was founded in 2013 as a subsidiary of the Lake Lucerne Navigation Company (SGV) AG and has a shipyard and an engineering office. The family company Gübelin AG produces jewelry at its own studio, and at its boutiques it sells popular luxury watches in addition to its own brand.
