Sales growth exceeds Emmi’s expectations

Lucerne - The Emmi Group achieved organic sales growth of 4.3 per cent in 2025, bringing it to a total of 4.7 billion Swiss francs. Looking ahead to 2026, the company expects organic growth of between 1.0 per cent and 3.0 per cent.

The Emmi Group has announced its results for the 2025 financial year. According to a statement on the figures, the dairy and dessert manufacturer's organic sales growth of 4.3 per cent to a total of 4.7 billion Swiss francs was driven by strong performance in its home market of Switzerland as well as international growth. This growth «has exceeded our own expectations and confirms the growth dynamic of recent years», writes the company. Total sales rose by 9.1 per cent, mainly due to positive acquisition effects of 7.9 per cent.

EBITDA also rose to 492.3 million Swiss francs, with a margin of 10.4 per cent. EBIT reached 334.6 million Swiss francs, or 7.1 per cent of sales. Net profit increased to 227.1 million Swiss francs, with a margin of 4.8 per cent, while the net debt ratio improved to 1.79.

In the 2025 financial year, the group says it systematically pursued its internationalization and acquisition strategies. This included the takeover of The English Cheesecake Company and the planned integration of Hochstrasser, acquired in 2024, as well as Verde Campo, a company specializing in functional dairy products, and the Mademoiselle Desserts Group.

From 2026, Emmi plans to launch the strategic platform nutrition+, with the aim of continued growth in the functional dairy products segment – including high-quality protein solutions such as EmmiEnergy Milk High Protein and Emmi High Protein Water, and drinkable meals like Emmi I’m your meal.

Overall, the group feels optimistic about the 2026 financial year. Among others, it expects organic sales growth of 1.0 to 3.0 per cent. While it expects organic sales to decline by between -2.0 and 0 per cent in the Swiss market, it anticipates growth of 4.0 to 6.0 per cent in the America division and 2.0 to 4.0 per cent in Europe. Emmi forecasts EBIT of 335 million to 355 million Swiss francs and a net profit margin of 4.8 to 5.3 per cent.
