Sanitas Troesch agrees takeover deal for Fischer

Lucerne/Bern - Fischer AG is now part of Sanitas Troesch. The takeover of the Lucerne-based specialists is intended to strengthen the kitchen and household appliance business of the Bern-based supplier of kitchen and bathroom fittings. Fischer AG has therefore found a future-proof succession plan.

Since January 7, 2022, Fischer AG has been part of Sanitas Troesch. Together, the two companies intend to further expand the range of kitchen and household appliances, as detailed in a press release issued jointly by the Lucerne specialists for kitchens and household appliances and the Bern-based supplier of kitchen and bathroom fittings. No details regarding the purchase price were disclosed in the press release.

With the takeover, Sanitas Troesch intends to strengthen its own market position in Zurich and expand its expertise in the area of service and repair for household appliances. The family-owned company Fischer has found a succession plan under the umbrella of Sanitas Troesch, the press release states. Daniel Dubach, Managing Director Kriens of Element-Kitchen AG, which is owned by Sanitas Troesch, will take over management responsibilities of Fischer on April 1, 2022, further details of which can be found in the press release. The former owners Monika and Peter Fischer will support integration efforts up to year-end 2022 as members of the management team.

“We are so proud of what we have achieved together with our employees”, comment Monika and Peter Fischer in the press release, adding that: “In Sanitas Troesch, we have found a partner with whom we can be sure that the values and entrepreneurial traditions of Fischer will be continued and that our customers and employees are in good hands”. For Patrick Maier, Fischer is “an excellent company that stands for customer proximity and high service quality”. With the takeover, the CEO of Sanitas Troesch is seeking to “strengthen our market position in Central Switzerland and in Zurich” in addition to benefiting “from the skills and competencies of Fischer’s employees”.
