Root LU The start-up Signifikant, which specializes in real-time impact management of advertising campaigns, has announced three success stories: the rollout of its definitive solution model, an agreement for bridge financing and the strengthening of its Management Board.
The start-up Signifikant Solutions, which is based at Technopark Lucerne, has enjoyed a highly successful rollout for its solution to optimize online and offline advertising campaigns for major companies. The start-up has developed a platform that monitors campaigns in real time and produces data models to measure success and make projections for future campaigns. After four years of development, the Lucerne-based start-up is now ready to go to market. Its solutions will be used in Switzerland and Germany, a press release states.
Alongside this, the company has also reported a success in terms of its funding. Signifikant has raised additional funds in the form of bridge financing from investors including the presidents of Switzerlands largest Business Angel Clubs such as Thomas Dübendorfer from Swiss ICT Investor Club (Sictic) and Johann Schlieper from the Zurich Business Angels. As part of this bridge financing, Dübendorfer, who invested during the seed financing phase, has now doubled his participation in the start-up.
Signifikant has also strengthened in terms of personnel. Professor Marcus Schlögel, a marketing expert from the University of St.Gallen, has joined the Management Board, while Cornel Schmid has also joined the start-up. Todays advertisers need swift and up-to-date answers regarding the effectiveness of individual campaign elements. A consistent and pervasive analysis of each advertising campaign, preferably while it is still running, lays the foundations for making the right decisions in a very rapid but substantiated manner, Schlögel explains in the press release.
Cornel Schmid, who previously worked for companies such as Unilever, Sony and Novartis, will join the start-up as a late co-founder and also form part of the Management Board. On the subject of Signifikant Solutions, Schmid said: This tool finally answers key questions that are of major operational and strategic importance for advertisers.
