Tudor to establish new headquarters in Sursee

Schenkon/Sursee - Tudor Pro Cycling has announced the start of construction on its new headquarters in Sursee. Across an area of 10,000 square meters, the new facility is designed to help optimally prepare the team’s cyclists ahead of races in addition to supporting its growth.

The cycling team Tudor Pro Cycling is planning to relocate its headquarters from Schenkon to Sursee in the canton of Lucerne, Switzerland. According to a press release, construction work is now underway on the new facility. The building, which will cover an area of 10,000 square meters, has been designed with sustainability in mind and is set to open in 2027. The aim is to support the growth of the team and redefine the standards of professional cycling. The project is being backed by the municipal council and the authorities of the canton of Lucerne.

The new facility, which will come at a cost of 17 million Swiss francs, has been designed in collaboration with Goldbeck Rhomberg. It is being constructed on Zeughausstrasse in Sursee and will eventually offer five floors of space for drivers, mechanics, trainers and staff to congregate and prepare for upcoming races. A publicly accessible area will also provide fans and supporters with the opportunity to gain exclusive behind-the-scenes insights and to enjoy interactive experiences.

"Together with Goldbeck Rhomberg, we’ve developed a pioneering concept that not only meets the needs of a professional sports team but also considers the expectations of fans and the local community", as Raphael Meyer, CEO of Tudor Pro Cycling, explains in the press release. "It also sets a new benchmark for environmental sustainability, being DGNB Gold certified, one of the highest standards buildings can reach", he concludes.

According to the information, Sursee and the canton of Lucerne have supported the team from the very beginning and helped to make this project a reality. "We are happy to see this new building dedicated to sport and healthy living taking shape right here in our community", comments Sabine Beck-Pflugshaupt, President of the city of Sursee, before adding: "It’s a space that will also help Sursee to shine in Switzerland and beyond our borders."
