Root LU The kitchen manufacturer Veriset will in future be offering an intelligent kitchen solution known as Küchen Smart. This will see sensors fitted in kitchens with devices wirelessly networked. All functions will be controlled by a single device. This applies equally to playing the right music.
Veriset will be offering the Küchen Smart solution from next year onwards, as detailed in a press release issued by the kitchen manufacturers from Root in the canton of Lucerne. The solution was originally developed by the German firm Mues-Tec, with Veriset now set to offer it exclusively in Switzerland in conjunction with its partner firm Orea AG.
The control device for the digital applications is installed centrally yet elegantly in the kitchen, with working conditions in the kitchen taken into account during the design. When not in use, the screen features a black mirrored aesthetic, while the surface made from glass is accordingly easy to clean. This means it can be operated even with fingers sticky from handling food. Küchen Smart can, however, also be controlled by way of a voice command functionality. This allows devices to be managed and recipes to be accessed, while telephone calls can be made and the right music can be played from the kitchen too.
According to the press release, Switzerlands largest kitchen manufacturer employs more than 280 staff that produce 20,000 kitchens, cupboards, wardrobes and utility room furniture each year. Last year, Veriset generated sales of around 100 million Swiss francs and celebrated the companys 20th birthday.
