Adligenswil

Adligenswil is pleasantly situated amid the verdant countryside and offers wonderful views of the Alps. Even so, the city of Lucerne is just 15 minutes away by bus or car. Adligenswil is manageable in size and has retained its rural charm.

Aesch

Doppleschwand

Doppleschwand occupies a conspicuous location in a lovely, sunny spot on the left flank of the valley on the eastern side of Mount Napf. The municipality is very child-friendly: the average age of the population is 35 a sign of its increasing popularity amongst young families.

Ebikon

Located on the shores of Lake Rot, Ebikon lies northeast of the city of Lucerne on the Lucerne-Zug-Zurich axis. Benefiting from its own motorway exit, a wonderful hillside situation and an extended range of leisure opportunities, Ebikon attracts families and individuals alike.

Egolzwil

Egolzwil is known for its attractive countryside and unspoilt natural surroundings. Mount Santenberg and the extensive peat bog are popular places for walks and sporting activities. The glorious Alpine panorama does much to enhance the municipality's high standard of living.

Emmen

Entlebuch

Entlebuch lies at the confluence of two rivers, the Kleine Emme and the Grosse Entlen. Just 25 minutes' train ride from Lucerne, Entlebuch offers high standards of living thanks to its active economy, broad service offering and attractive residential opportunities.

Ermensee

Ermensee is considered by many to be the pearl of the See Valley and lies between Lakes Baldegg and Hallwil. The mid-sized, family-friendly village has a modern primary school and has attracted a range of small and medium-sized commercial enterprises. The heart of the village is under a preservation order for its aesthetic significance. It has a number of active clubs, all of which welcome newcomers.

Eschenbach

Eschenbach is a breath of fresh air not far from town. Offering attractive residential opportunities and lovely views, the municipality has a good school, a low tax regime and excellent connections for private car and public transport users. The local gravel works bring direct financial benefit to the locality.

Escholzmatt-Marbach

The picturesque "Schybidorf" of Escholzmatt, on the watershed between Bern and Lucerne, is well aware of its advantages. The social and economic life in the well-connected community links the past with the forward-looking present.

Ettiswil

Ettiswil is situated between the little towns of Willisau and Sursee, next to the Wigger Valley. It is an attractive municipality offering residential and cultural opportunities and unspoilt countryside. Recreational amenities include nature trails and Wyher Castle, and there are excellent bus links to Lucerne.

Fischbach

Fischbach lies in the northeast of Canton Lucerne at its border with Canton Bern, in the heart of Switzerland. The cities of Lucerne, Bern and Zurich are just an hour away by public transport. In terms of climate, Fischbach has many residential advantages, one being the lack of fog.

Flühli

Sörenberg Flühli is the natural highlight of the UNESCO Entlebuch Biosphere Reserve, popular with visitors. With activities such as walking, mountain biking, golfing and Kneipp hydrotherapy in the summer and 50 km of prepared slopes in the winter, Sörenberg Canton Lucerne's largest ski resort offers a warm welcome.
